I'll overwhelm 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
